Experiment 42: Bionic and Cybernetic System Installation
IX will be outfitted with an array of bionic and cybernetic components to complete system enhancements. Once this experiment is complete, subject will be ready for field testing.

- Bionic Reinforcement: Pelvis/hips, Shoulders, Collarbone, Spine, Wings
- Bionic lung with gas filter and oxygen storage system
- Organ Replacement: Heart, Kidney, Liver, Spleen, Intestines
- Multi-optic Eye: Telescopic, Macro lens, Passive night vision, Thermo-imaging, Light filters, Targeting display
- Amplified Hearing
- Sound Ear Plugs
- Clock Calendar and Gyro-compass
- Lunarium Skeleton Enhancement (Lunarium Skeleton Enhancement is an experimental process whereby liquid lunarium is fused to existing skeletal structure to enhance strength and durability.)
Notes: Even after reinforcement, Subject's wings remain suprisingly flexible and foldable.
Final Test Results: Subject Deceased.
IX survived through most of the procedures. However during the lunarium skeletal fusion process of the skull and spinal column, IX quite suddenly developed a severe allergy to lunarium, despite previous tests to the contrary, as well as fusion of the rest of the skeletal system. The surgeons were unable to revive IX, and after a mandatory 24 hour waiting period, the remains were sent for harvesting and destruction.
